| africa was amazing! i cant put into words how much of an experience i had over there. the people were wonderful. i went to 3 countries: zambia, zimbabwe, & south africa. i went to 7 cities: port elizabeth, victoria falls, grahamstown, livingstone, johannesburg, pretoria, & sun city. pretoria was the first place we went to after we landed in johannesburg. we met taki & his dad, marco, & pierre. taki was cool. the day we left pretoria he was leaving on an elephant hunt to video tape the hunt. in zambia i took a cruise on the Queen Elizabeth down the zambezi river & the sunset was the most beautiful thing ive ever seen in my life. i went to victoria falls (one of the 7 wonders of the world) and it was massive. the rainbow over the falls was beautifull too. we went through a crocodile sanctuary and the place had 8,000 crocs! one of em weighed 120 lbs! it was crazy..& we got so close to em too! my sister & i got to play with lil baby lion cubs! awww! they were the cutest things ever!! the last week i was there i went hunting with my family and some friends. i shot an impala & a zebra. my dad shot a leapord (the shyest cat in the world), wart hog, spring bok, eeland (the largest antelope in the world), fellow deer, & red heartabeast. my sister shot an nyala & a bush pig. the next to last day we went to pick up adre, our guides son. hes 17 & hes awesome. haha..hes hilarious. the last nite i was there we sat outside till 12 next to the fire and drank hot chocolate and watched for shooting stars. i saw like 3 or 4. i had only seen like 1 shooting star before that so it was pretty amazing. the sky is so incredibly clear there. i saw the southern cross & the milky way. the milky was is beautiful. every morning i woke up to the mountains and the beach was only an hr 1/2 away. one thing that took a while to get used to was the driving. they drove on the rite side of their car & on the left side of the road. haha...now that felt weird at first. i didnt miss home at all. i wanted to stay so bad. i matured a whole lot when i was there. ahh..its so beautiful over there. i loved it and i cant wait till i go back. like i said before..i just cant put into words what i felt when i was there. i learned so much. i learned to be myself..and if im myself people will like me more than if i try to be anything else. i also learned that the most important people in your life are your family & your friends. that all you need. if you have that then you are rich with happiness. i made so many new friends & i love each & every single one of them. its like i got 5 new family members in just 2 weeks: jahon, marie (my second parents), andre, jon, & adre. it was such an amazing experience. i took 8 planes. the flight from atlanta to s.a. was 18 hrs. im just resting cuz the jet lag is gettin to me. i would put photos up here, but my computers too slow. ill show you when i get the chance.
oh yeah..so the weekend before i left for africa stephen came to town and we spent all of saturday together. it went pretty well. haha...hes freakin tall-6' & he shaved his head.
